While extremely resilient and hardy, those that do have issues generally stem from water collecting in their large base. Please be sure to fully dry your Xerographica upside down after watering. Care Guide
After unboxing
Soak your new plants upside down in room temperature water for 20-40 minutes.
Watering
Air plants enjoy 70-80% humidity with near daily misting. Soak your plants for 20 minutes weekly, or
bi-weekly. If you live somewhere humid, misting might be enough to skip soaking. Make sure your air plants fully dry within 4 hours.
Light
Most air plants enjoy indirect lighting (5–10’ from a window) where you can still see a shadow. Avoid placing your plants in direct sunlight.
Feeding
Use 1/4 tsp bromeliad fertilizer with 1 gallon of spring water (never distilled) to either mist the plants once monthly or as the solution for their monthly soak.
